Shipping policy

Please be aware that many of our items are shipped directly to you from our suppliers....

We have no control over the time it takes for a supplier to ship an item or even less control over the postal service in your country and customs import issues associated with your purchase.

Customer is responsible to pay all duties and customs fees to receive the item from the courier and customs in your country.

In case of a return, ALL FEES incurred by the refund process, including but not limited to shipping, will fall on the buyer.

You are responsible for all duties, taxes, and other fees that may apply in your country...

* US allows up to $800 USD worth of merchandise duty-free.

 

INSURANCE FOR YOUR PURCHASE.

Please ensure that your shipping includes sufficient insurance for the item you have purchased. If you do not pick a delivery carrier that provides sufficient insurance coverage for your purchase Maple City Timepieces is not responsible for reimbursing lost or stolen items from the mail carrier. 

Once the item is shipped Maple City Timepieces is not responsible for the item while it is in transit with a delivery carrier or customs agencies......

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT INSURANCE COVERAGE WHEN PICKING A DELIVERY METHOD.

The responsibility is on the buyer to make sure if you purchase a $2000 item then $25 shipping cost probably isnt enough to cover proper insurance coverage........


Package Theft

A courier may leave your parcel outside your location when you are not available to receive it. 

IF ITEM IS LOST OR STOLEN IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MCTP TO REIMBURSE THE BUYER.

 

Cut-Off Time

Any order that comes in after 1 PM (EST), will be shipped the next day.

Rates

Our rates are calculated by partner apps that take into account the item's location (Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada), your location, and the carrier's service fees.

Thanks to our partners we are able to offer our customers discounted shipping rates and expedited services to make sure that the package arrives on time, at an economic price and most importantly, safe.

Out of Stock

*Selected "OUT OF STOCK" items may be reordered. Keep in mind their (ETA) may increase by 2-4 weeks on top of the standard (ETA) of 1-2 weeks. Meaning there might be a maximum (ETA) of up to 6 weeks on Selected "OUT OF STOCK" items.

Damages, theft, loss incurred by the Carrier

If the product is damaged, missing or otherwise damaged upon arrival, please feel free to write us an email at gmv1256@gmail.com with the proper documentation (photos of the condition of the product, a written description of the problem, and the invoice of your purchase), so we can be of assistance to you in solving this matter.

*For some countries a flat rate of $200CDN dollars may be charged on top of the cost of the desired item.

*A designated carrier may also calculate the shipping costs automatically, in which case we are not responsible for the shipping fees charged.

**We are not liable for any fees processed by the shipping method chosen by the customers.**

We are not responsible for lost or stolen parcels after they have been turned over to courier.

**It’s the responsibility of the buyer to insure the package at checkout if they wish their purchase to be protected against any contingencies that might occur while the item is in transit from MCTP to their designated address.**
