‍Movement A proprietary Valjoux Cal. 7751 25 jewel automatic chronograph movement that has been further modified and decorated by TWC watchmakers. Proprietary attributes include : Incabloc shock absorption, nivarox hairspring, and a glucydure balance. In-house modifications include : 5-position adjustment, perlage plates, custom TWC rotor with Geneva stripes. This high-grade Swiss movement has a 46-hour power reserve and COSC quality + accuracy.

History The first ever Towson Watch Company timepiece, the Mission Chronograph was designed and built in 2000 for an astronaut on a NASA STS-99 mission, which mapped the earth’s surface from the south of Greenland to the northern edge of the Antarctic. The first line of Mission Chronographs built were tested and proven in space, serving as faithful companions to the astronauts on-board the Endeavor aircraft.
