Nordlys – Interstellar

The Bauhaus design style is known all over the world for its elegant yet functional aesthetic. With NORDLYS we have taken those principles and created a distinct and versatile watch that is designed for your next adventure as well as everyday use.

NORDLYS means “Northern Lights” in Danish and comes in three distinct colors, all inspired by the Scandinavian night sky.

NORDLYS really shines when it comes to the surface finish. The vertical and radial brushing accentuates the shape of the case and hands, while the mirror-polished chamfers provide a balance between the raw and the refined. The case is made from 316L stainless steel that has excellent corrosion resistance.

The indices, hands, and bezel markers are all filled with luminescent BGW9 from Swiss Super-LumiNova®, which glows in the dark after a day in the sun.

We believe that scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is one of the hallmarks of a quality watch. That’s why you will find sapphire crystal on both the front and back of NORDLYS.  The front crystal is slightly curved and features 6 layers of anti-reflective coating, giving a clear view of the dial.

NORDLYS is equipped with an automatic movement – the ultra-thin 9015 Premium Series automatic movement from Miyota. The thinness of the 9015 movement has allowed for a case height of just 11 mm.

NORDLYS is water-resistant up to 200 meters / 20 ATM / 660 ft, making it the ideal companion for a deep dive in the ocean or a quick dip in the pool.
